Locked-down Love

If you give a little love, you can get a little love of your own.

With Valentines Day rapidly approaching and the UK still locked down, I wanted to share some of the amazing ways you can share your love a little bit more this year; by supporting small, local businesses in Lincolnshire.

Whatever your little Valentines treat is, and whoever you’re sending it to or sharing it with, there’s something to make every heart smile.

So pop your slippers on, get the kettle boiling or pour yourself a glass of wine, find yourself a little treat (for me it’s a segment of Terry’s Chocolate Orange) - and let’s get to it!

Feeling Fresh:

Flowers

Perfect for her. Simple and elegant but full of colour.

Send a bunch, an arrangement or a DIY kit to your girlfriend, fiancee, wife, mum, sister, or best friend. Plus they can carry on enjoying the beautiful arrangement each day while it lasts.

Feeling Dishy:

Dining in

If, like me, you usually use Valentines Day as an excuse for a slap up meal with your SO, this one is for you.

Fear not, the following businesses are offering “Date night in a box” or “Afternoon Tea in a box” packages so delicious, local food can be delivered straight to your front door. No need to pour over your recipe books, do an emergency dash to the supermarket for fresh tarragon, or do the washing up!

Also wanted to give a little shoutout to some wonderful local businesses who had Valentines offers on but were already fully booked by the time this blog post went live:
